Dementia Forum 2020

*As UMBC acts on guidance from the University System of Maryland and public health leaders working to limit the spread of COVID-19, the University is cancelling events and meetings scheduled to take place at UMBC, effective Thursday, March 12 at least until Sunday, April 5, 2020. Resiliency: A Dementia Perspective

Participants in this forum will explore the concept of resilience and dementia. The speakers will provide an overview of dementia, a discussion of resilience among persons living with dementia and their care partners, and a synopsis of the role of the person-centered approach in promoting resilience. This forum is applicable to health care professionals, formal and informal caregivers, and advocates.

Registration
$30 for the half-day workshop with a certificate of completion (without Continuing Education Credits).

$60 for the half-day workshop with either Nursing Home Administrator or Social Work Continuing Education Credits.

Registration includes breakfast, snack, and a certificate. Parking is available and free of charge.
