Advising

All new freshman, transfer, and recently declared Management of Aging Services majors should contact Dr. Louise Murray, director of undergraduate programs, in their first semester of registration. Minors are strongly encouraged to contact Dr. Murray as well to discuss core requirements and appropriate elective options. Additionally, she is available to answer general questions about University requirements (such as academic policies, registration concerns, and general graduation requirements), academic support, transfer concerns, research opportunities, and career options.

All students must meet with an advisor at least once per semester (Fall and Spring) to obtain authorization to register and discuss academic progress and post-graduate plans. Please review your progress towards your degree before these appointments by reviewing your degree audit, program requirements, and previous advising notes. Come prepared to discuss your upcoming semester plans and academic/career goals.

Dr. Murray is available for advising appointments throughout the academic year and can be reached by email for scheduling.
