![]() Dr. Majeski is currently Clinical Associate Professor and Program Director for the undergraduate Management of Aging Services program with UMBC at The Universities at Shady Grove. She was Academic Program Director, Gerontology and Social Science in The School of Undergraduate Studies, University of Maryland University College where she developed award winning online gerontology programs. She has been on the faculties of Towson University, College of Notre Dame of Maryland, and The Community Colleges of Baltimore County. Her publications have focused on best practices in online instruction; academic program assessment; and interdisciplinary problem-based learning in gerontology.
Dr. Majeski is former Chair, Maryland Consortium of Gerontology in Higher Education. She worked with older adults as a cardiovascular health educator and registered nurse in retirement community and adult day care settings. She holds a Ph.D. in Human Development/Education from the University of Maryland at College Park, and an MA in Religious Studies and B.S.N. from Catholic University of America.
