Margaret Kimbell

Margaret Stewart Kimbell, D.H.A., R.N. is currently the Vice President of Community Living at Erickson Living providing corporate leadership to the departments of Social Work, Resident Life, Philanthropy and the enterprise wide Memory Support program.


Dr. Kimbell has over 30 years of experience in healthcare spanning the acute care, outpatient care, health education and the long term care arenas where she held the positions of Director of Nursing and Nursing Home Administrator. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Maryland at Baltimore, her Master’s degree in Administration Science and her Doctorate degree in Health Care Administration from Central Michigan University.


In addition to her duties at Erickson Living, Dr. Kimbell has been on the faculty at the Erickson School of Aging since 2008 and is an active member of the Erickson Living Diversity and Inclusion Council.


Dr. Kimbell is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator and Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland.
