 Paul Stearns, M.S. is a recent addition to The Erickson School as of August 2019 and has served as our Assistant Dean and Chief of Staff. Prior to working at The Erickson School, Paul has spent over 10 years working for the Gerontological Society of America, where he ultimately was the acting Senior Director of Membership, Communications and Branding for the organization. In this position, he not only oversaw membership development and retention, he ensured the consistent delivery of the organizational brand and image to maintain the Society’s long, rich heritage and reputation. A native of Laurel, Maryland, Stearns earned his Bachelor of Science in Health Education from the University of Maryland, College Park and later his Master of Science in Marketing Management from the University of Maryland University College. In addition to his work with the GSA, Paul has worked as an Associate in Health and Safety at the American Red Cross National Headquarters, and as the Membership Director for the American Health Care Association.
