Gary Hibbs, M.S.W., J.D.

Gary Hibbs

Gary Hibbs is currently the Executive Director of Riderwood Village, a continuing care retirement community in Silver Spring, Maryland managed by Erickson Living. Mr. Hibbs joined Erickson Living in 1995 after serving as administrator of Wellington Manor, a long-term care facility in Clinton, Maryland. He also practiced law with the Senior Citizen Law Project in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Prior to joining the Riderwood executive team in 2013, Mr. Hibbs served as Regional Executive Director for eight Erickson Living communities in Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Kansas.

 

Previously, he served as the Executive Director of Oak Crest in Parkville, Maryland and Cedar Crest in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, and Henry Ford Village, a former Erickson Living community in Dearborn, Michigan. Mr. Hibbs also served as administrator of Charlestown’s assisted living facility, formerly known as ‘Frederick House.’ Mr. Hibbs holds M.S.W. and J.D. degrees from the University of Maryland at Baltimore, is a certified L.G.S.W. and a member of the Maryland Bar. He received his nursing home administrator’s license while working with Global Health Management in Maryland, and is also licensed in the state of Michigan as a long-term care administrator. Gary, his wife Jenne and their four children live in Sykesville, Maryland.
