Robin Majeski

Dr. Majeski is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Erickson School at The University of Maryland at Baltimore County. She was previously Program Director of the undergraduate Management of Aging Services program with UMBC at Shady Grove and Academic Program Director, Gerontology and Social Science in The School of Undergraduate Studies, University of Maryland University College where she developed award-winning online gerontology programs.  Her publications and conference presentations have focused on best practices in asynchronous online instruction and course development, experiential learning, academic program assessment; gerontology and management of aging services education, and integrative health and wellness in aging.

Dr. Majeski is the former Chair of the Maryland Consortium of Gerontology in Higher Education. She worked with older adults as a cardiovascular health educator and registered nurse in retirement community and adult daycare settings. She holds a Ph.D. in Human Development/Education from the University of Maryland at College Park, an MA in Religious Studies, and a B.S.N. from the Catholic University of America.
