Margaret Kimbell

Margaret Stewart Kimbell, D.H.A., R.N. worked as Vice President of Community Living at Erickson Living, where she provided corporate leadership to the departments of Social Work, Resident Life, Philanthropy, and the enterprise-wide Memory Support program.

Dr. Kimbell has over 40 years of experience in healthcare spanning the acute care, outpatient care, health education and long-term care arenas, where she held the positions of Director of Nursing and Nursing Home Administrator. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Maryland at Baltimore, her Master’s degree in Administrative Science, and her Doctorate degree in Health Care Administration from Central Michigan University.

Dr. Kimbell has been on the faculty at the Erickson School since 2008 and continues to teach classes focusing on the management of aging services and policies affecting aging. 
Dr. Kimbell holds an active nursing license in the state of Delaware and a Nursing Home Administrator’s license through the state of Maryland.
