Scott Townsley

Scott Townsley, J.D. joined the Erickson School in 2010 as an adjunct associate professor and become a full-time professor of practice in 2017. He leads graduate courses on strategy, entrepreneurship, and innovation, where he advises students on Capstone and other academic projects. Mr. Townsley has more than 30 years of experience in the senior living and senior care field and has led hundreds of client assignments involving strategic planning, governance, market analysis, affiliations and mergers and project development.

Prior to instructing full-time, Mr. Townsley formed Trilogy Consulting, LLC after serving as the managing Principal of Third Age, Inc. – one of the largest firms dedicated to consulting and strategy for senior living organizations – as well as a Principal within the senior living practice of CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP. He holds a B.S. in Business and Administration from Drexel University, a Juris Doctorate from Villanova University and has been licensed as Nursing Home Administrator.

Scott is also President of the Board of Directors of the Center for Innovation, a not for profit company that sponsors The Green House Project and promotes research, education and program development for person centered approaches to the care of older adults.
