Meg LaPorte

Meg LaPorte, MA, holds a master’s degree in Management of Aging Services from the Erickson School at UMBC. She is a writer, editor, and communications specialist with more than 17 years in the senior living field and more than 25 years in non-profit management positions. LaPorte, who served for nine years as managing editor of Provider magazine and now writes for several trade publications and blogs on aging, was recently appointed as director of communications and marketing for LifeSpan Network, which represents more than 300 senior services organizations in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
